memory foam mattressess

Hi recently purchased a memory foam mattresse its very comfy but 1/2 inch too big does anyone have any ideas
how to make it less and also makes us sweat a lot and views on this matter please.

We tried one and I hated it as it made us so hot - cant see a way round it really!

there is a company who sell memory foam mattresses thru ebay and they sell a cover made from a material called outlast and its meant to regulate your body temperature

Memory foam mattresses are great, and i'd recommend them to anyone, i no longer wake up with aches and pains and a cricky neck on a morning!

If you are keeping it toby, and you mean it is half inch too wide and you are brave, an electric carving knife goes thru foam alarming fast but with good results.

As I say, only for the brave.

I think that being just half an inch too big is really nothing to worry about unless you've put it on a bunk bed, and once your sheet's over it, and then your duvet covers the lot - no one's going to notice.
We've got some beautiful memory foam mattresses, and toppers as well, & we haven't noticed that they cause any of us to sweat. Maybe it depends on what material your sheets are made of, because I think they're the most comfortable things ever invented.
