white washing with a hint of blue?

sometimes when i do my white wash it comes out with a faint hint of blue, i always put a colour catcher in and that also comes out quite blue, any ideas why? thanks

Mine too! Its your detergent. I thought I was imagining it but I reckon it because I use tablets- they seem to have blue specs in them. Its worse if you use that Vanish Oxy Action stuff in your wash as well. I'm going to switch back to liquid.

i noticed the blue speckles in the powder i use and thought it may be that, liquid it is in future then, thanks very much.
I found this too with my washing,i have stopped using blue comfort and lenor,i have switched to pink bold and it has sorted the problem out.
Agree with everyone here. All washing powder is the same. it's either bio or non-bio. The manufacturers put different colour flecks in it to cheat us that we are buying a superior brand.
