We are putting in fitted wardrobes and want to know which is the best and/or most economical material to use to create the interior, shelves etc? Also where can we buy this in the Birmingham/Walsall area?

Kathy, i am doing this soon too. I am just gonna use my old wardrobes (without the doors on of course)behind the mirror doors. And like the guy above says, MDF for the shelving in between them for my other stuff.

Thanks for the advice - what a good idea to use the old ones - except we haven't got one! We've bought melamine covered chipboard - 20 600mmx2400mmx15 from Wickes
Cheers
IKEA sells kits for this.
