Best sealer to use on Yorkshire stone flags in kitchen

Hi, I'm trying to find the best stone sealer to use on my kitchen flags. They are bare, unsealed at the moment with lots of plasterers mess to clean off. When sealed I'd like them to be a bit shiny if poss. An old neighbour had beautiful flags and she once told me the stuff they used - I think it began with an L...liber something? But can't remember! Can anyone recommend anything or does anyone know the name of the stuff I mean?? Thanks a lot Ed x
