i'm redecorating my bedroom, and i want some vintage things like dressing table/ chest of draws etc.

and some vintage wallpaper.

anyone know where i can find some nice things?

..assuming you're not talking about antiques.................try the re-cycling centre.....................a lot of people throw out the kind of furniture that I think you mean..................

Also Farrow & Ball (try their website) have a great range of old style wall coverings............................expensive though :o)

I don't know how much you have to spend but Laura Ashley do lovely vintage looking furniture instore, I really wanted it but it was too expensive for me!

If you have transport, you should try auctions. I have bought beautiful furniture, including rosewood and walnut, for very little. I can't understand why people don't appreciate the craftsmanship of older furniture. A word of warning - check for woodworm.
