Is a wall mural a silly way to give a room some life?

I have read a lot about wall murals and can't decide if they would look silly somewhere other than a business, restaurant, or hotel.
What do you think?
Also, do you have any suggestions on places to buy them? I've looked at www.muralsyourway.com but they are really expensive.

Quite the contrary!! A wall mural is a quite wonderful way to spice any room up. Our office orders our wall murals from www.juicywalls.com/en.

They are removable.
