We have a double Fisher&Paykel (model DD603) dishwasher which has stopped working. It comes up with error message F1 which says that the Flood Switch has been activated. The machine has not flooded and everything else seems to be in working order. Does anyone know where this 'Flood Switch' is located so that I can reset it. I have no wish to pay an engineer some exorbitant fee just to come along and reset a switch!

The trouble is that these are really rare beasts that seem to originate from the USA. I agree the flood switch may be sticking, but it may not be a simple case of 'resetting it because it will either a float switch (so possibly jammed) or an electrical switch whose resistance changes when it gets covered with water (can't be reset).
Have you tried the various people at the M Keynes UK Offices to blag for free information - like a mechanical layout diagram?
