Bedroom Ideas

My husband is putting new floor boards in our main bedroom at the moment and we will be decorating and moving in there. I have a big brass bed and want colour/decorating ideas to show it off at its best. Does anyone have any ideas or know of any site i can look at which shows various colour schemes etc as i really have no idea. Apart from the brass bed i am starting with a blank canvas. I am usually good this sort of thing but have not been well recently and my mind is not working as it used to!

Personally I love dark red with brass as it looks so cosy and inviting, however, red walls, even one, would make the room look small. I'd go for a dark red quilt cover or whatever you put on the bed, red curtains and red frames for pictures. For a summery approach go for a white and red bed cover.

I like red too, if your looking for something a bit lighter, a lilac or aqua goes nice. My personal favourite at the moment is aubergine which would look lovely on the head wall, maybe teamed with a pale cream/magnolia or caramel colour on the other walls
