Personally I wouldn't touch Wood End, Henley Green, Willenhall or Willenhall Wood, Stoke Aldermoor or some parts of Tile Hill which have sprawling not very nice council estates. Nice but expensive are Styvechale, Burton Green, Finham; there might be some others but I can't remember. Mainly OK are Earlsdon which is a popular student area, Allesley, Stoke and Stoke Heath(lots of little terraces), Wyken, Walsgrave, Cheylesmore, anywhere near the Memorial Park, Poets Corner (Wordsworth Rd, Longfellow Rd, which is classed as Binley I think), anywhere towards Kenilworth, Whitley, Chapelfields, some of Canley. If you are looking to let to the Asian market then Foleshill and Hillfields would be good. IMO Coventry is a good place to let, it held up very well when prices were falling. My info might be a bit out of date but I'm sure you will check for yourself.
