I don't know, but what guarantee do people have that the companies giving the assurances will still be in business years from now?

I guess there are Companies that advertise a guarantee, Col, but it's rather academic. I wouldn't necessarily rely on it.

Much better to engage a known reputable local firm. They are more likely to protect their good name. Any problems will show up quickly in the weeks after completion. A decent Company would soon deal with them.
