Bbc Quiz : Week 9

Hello again!

I got off to a great start this week, with a maximum SEVEN out of seven in the grown-ups' quiz:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz9nnkkep29o

As was to be expected from me though, I then had to ruin everything by scoring just ONE out of five in the junior version!

How will YOU do this week, I wonder?

Well done Chris.  I got a miserable 3/7 for the adult one and 2/5 for the junior one.

At least you're better at being a kid than I am, Maggie 😊

4/7 and 2/5.

Not bad but not particularly good either.

The kitten Cookie, is growing by leaps and bounds.  He's head and shoulders above DJ, but she was always a small cat.

Soon much better than last week, which isn't difficult, a 6 and a 3.

Feeling pretty chuffed lol

Thanks for posting the quizzes, Chris.

Good evening Chris.

Well, my guessing 'technique' let me down this week!

3/7

1/5

Like a school report of old "Must try harder, Can do better"...

Main: 4/7
Jnr: 3/5

I tried just the grown-ups quiz, and I got zero! You won't tell anyone, Buenchico, will you? Promise?

Evening Chris.

Well done on your perfect seven.

4/7

2/5

Hope this finds you well  ; ))

7/7 v 4/7

1/5 v 2/5

Comedy trio in the kitchen tonight , orphan lamb (not really an orphan, a triplet whose mother hasn't enough milk for three} running around, approaches dog for tea, dog stands there looking totally embarrassed.

Approaches  Gobolino, the mighty hunter, who flees in terror !

Hope Chequers,Moonbeam and Tablo (as well as you ) are having a peaceful evening  🙂

Decent enough scores from you this week, I feel, Sandy.  (I've had far worse weeks than that!)

Kittens never stay kittens for long.  That's sad in that you no longer see their curiosity in everything around them but pleasing in that your curtains no longer get shreeded to pieces! 😺 😊

Well done on beating my aggregate (and on being a far better kid than me), Alba!

Good evening, Cap'n!

Unusually, I hardly needed any guesses in the main quiz this week, as I'd actually read (and, more importantly, remembered) most of the news stories.

However my guessing was much like yours when it came to the junior quiz!

Better luck next week!

Bang in the middle, twice over, I see, Arky!

(That's better than I often manage, anyway!)

I promise to keep schtum, Bookbinder, honestly!

😊

6/7 (stupid horse) & 3/5

Hiya, Sam!

I contine to 'battle on', thank you.  I hope that you're well too!

Your scores are better than I frequently end up with!

With inspiration like that (as provided by the 'comedy trio') available to you, I think that you should go into movie-making, Haras2 🎥

Well done on being a bigger kid than me this week, anyway!

Yes, it's all remarkably peaceful here at the moment.  (Tablo's asleep in the bath - don't ask me why! Chequers and Moonbeam are both asleep on my bed next to me). Of course, as soon as I want to go to sleep, they'll all wake up and start pestering me!

Have a good week!

Well done on beating my aggregate score (as always), Lie-in King!

Good evening Buen x

Thanks for keeping me company in the Aggregate Eight Club, Patsy!

You're welcome, Buen! 😄

Many congrats. on the 7/7 Chris... mind-boggling!

Me - 5/7 and a very pleasing 4/5 (but 2 were outright guesses - I know - they count!).

Tyke is now faced with an operation to descale and possibly remove some teeth on St. Patrick's day.... since he already has a scale 2 heart murmur... fingers firmly crossed.

OH has walked half a mile!!

3/7 and 1/5 (thanks to Mars). But at least Junior came second to Adult this week, a refreshing change 🤣

Evening, Chris.

5 and 4

SNAP!  Scorpiojo...   :)
