A friend of ours has been in arrears with his mortgage and had received a letter saying its been to court and the house is being re-possesed. He didn't attend the court hearing as he says he didn't receive notice that it was taking place. Can this action be stopped now if he pays the arrears off in full or is it too late? I seem to remember seeing advertised somewhere that there are places that can halt re-possession but now i am trying to find out where there seem no ads about. Any ideas I can offer my desperate mate?

I think the best thing to do is contact a solicitor without delay if your friend realy wants to save his home.
