Neighbours dispute
3 Answers
Hi
My neighbour cut my planting back (had to stand in my garden to do so) when i was on holiday. On my return i told them i was very unhappy they did this 'behind my back', they had never asked me to cut it back.
Now, several weeks later, they wish to come onto my land and do some building repairs. I have told them the dates they propose (this week, with no notice) is not suitable and have proposed 2 other dates in the next 2 weeks when i am about.
They are now threatening me with court action to gain access to my land.
Am I in the wrong??

Just get along with them! There's enough strife in the world without arguing with the very people who live next door to you (unless you have good reason). It's a bit playgroundy if you don't mind me saying - wouldn't it be far easier just to let it go, and work with them? Give you all an easier and more pleasant life!
