hi i am new to this site, so hello everyone.
has enyone out there been to india and baught a hous there.
i have been three times, and can not see the way to own a house in goa and have the title deeds to say you own the house and the land. it seems very riskey to buy a flat or house, as you may never actually own it outright. any ideas?

Unless you plan on living out there one day, sounds a daft idea anyway. Come the (unstoppable) oil crisis, long-distance holidaying by air is very likely to decline.

hi, buildersmate, yes we will be planning to live out there one day for a six month period at a time. we would also be looking at buying a small bar in the area, we have looked at one or two places. i dont think the oil crisis will make much of an affect on travel, we all have to and will, travel at whatever cost.
