where can I get a copy of a house blueprint with all the specifications of lintels, floor thicknesses, pipework, wiring plumbing insulation etc. to see how it's done? I know it will be different for each house but I need to see a structural plan that is recent ( someones completed project perhaps}. I looked on e-bay and bought some c.d's but they are all floor plans.
thanks, alf.

You are referring to the Building Control drawings and even then they won't tell you all the things you have listed. (It won't show wiring or plumbing - only in the sense that things are subject to Building Control regulation will be detailed).
The short answere is you can't get these except from a friendly architect/architectural technician. The ones at Building Control in your local offices you are not entitled to see.
Or buy a book on the subject - something like Building Construction Handbook by Chudley and Greeno . ISBN 0 7506 3753 6
