affordable?
I'm looking into renting a house with my partner, its a 2 bedroom in the norwich area, rent is 550 a month excluding bills. We have a joint income of around 1900 on average a month. Honestly, will we be able to afford this move? thinking about monthly bills etc. also anyone got any rough ideas on average monthly bills (i know it depends on the household and the individual) any help would be great! thanks!

Council tax 100
Gas/ Electric 80
Water Rates 30
Phone/internet 25
Contents insurance 20
Tv licence = 12
That makes 'essential bills' to be in the region of 250 per month - this is very approximate, but a lot you can find out beforehand, such as council tax and water rates.
So your monthly spend is now 800, plus other essentials: travel costs and food and personal spending on clothes and so on.
