How do I determine who owns the fence at the back of my garden. The fence seperates my garden a neighbour at the back.

It should say in the house deeds either by a description or by reference to T marks on the deed plan. If it is the type of fence that has the supporting posts on one side and the planks on the other side then it usually belongs to the side with the posts. If there is nothing to indicate either way then it may mean you have joint responsibility for the fence along with your neighbour.
