AS1 or AP1 land registry form?
My mother died in April 2009. I am the executor and sole beneficiary of her will (no inheritance tax due). Probate was issued yesterday and the official form will be with me in about 2 weeks. There is a small mortgage on the property and I am in the process of applying to take this over. I haven't got a clue what I need to do next. I've looked on the land registry site and think I need to complete forms to get the deeds changed into my name. Can anyone advise when I can do this and which form(s) I will need to complete. I've contacted the building society but all they say is contact a solicitor who will advise me. I prefer to try to get things in hand before I do this.
