Is it possible to find out whose name is on the deeds of a property.
Land registry site only shows if a property has changed hands after a sale, what if someone has their name just added to a deed, is this recorded anywhere that you can check on.

The Land Registry shows all registered owners, any charges or other interests in the property.

I dont think the house has been registered with LR.
You can't just add your name to a deed, it is treated as a transfer. Any sales since the land registry was set up have to be recorded on there within 6 months of the sale I think. So if this is something you think happened in the last ten-ish years then it should be on there.
You should be able to see all the information you need on a Land Registry Title register. However, if the property is unregistered it will be difficult to find who the owners are. There are some unregistered land specialist companies that may be able to help.
