goathland where they film heartbeat is stunning too, holidayed there many times.

Property somewhat there though I would think, gucciman. And you might get very fed up with the constant coach tours and streams of visitors. It was lovely years ago before 'Heartbeat'.

There are so many beautiful villages in that area, but I have never had to use public transport there and that might be an issue.
