We need to buy a new front (street) door but I do not know what there is to consider when purchasing this.

We have had a wooden door, but it has warped over time. I do not know what to look for in a purchase and would appreciate any advice.

primarily, it's down to what look you want the door to have, then it's just a case of either buying a cheaper or more expensive one of that type. Are you having it professionally fitted? That would be my main consideration

If you are keeping the original frame then measure the door and visit a Door Store,there will be many designs to choose from. Aternatively contact UPVC companies and get quotes for a new door and frame.Around £350 - £400. fully fitted.
