anyone know why my cold water taps in the bathroom have stopped working [sink and bath]

the hot ones are fine,and all the other taps in the house are working ok..the cold water tank is full its puzzling me..thanx...

May have an airlock,cold water taps are usually fed straight from mains.

Sounds like the basin and bath Colds are tank-fed, and there's an air lock, Stokers.
Open the basin and baths Colds and put one's gob over the basin spout and blow!!!
Sounds a bit distasteful but usually works.

........... sorry about that Sara.......... perhaps I should have added that it might less gruesome to jam a length of hose over the spout instead.......... maybe one of those rubber shower/tap adaptor thingys :o(

lol ttfn i attatched an old piece of hosepipe on the sink tap and blew...and hey presto..water again thanks to the builder...what a great answer...thanks mate...

Nasty things are tubes. Years ago I used to syphon off all the home brewed wine. Had to stop once I got to the lees though. Had a lot of unused wine bottles...

thanks mate they are working well now..if ever you are in stoke ill get you a pint...the mrs was all for ripping the bath panels off to get to the piped lol..i knew there would be someone on here to lend a helping hand...what is the alternative solution then???

Oh, that was the bit about using a hose instead of one's gob direct ............ it was for Sara's benefit really. She's rather classy. She'd rather the butler did that kind of thing ;o)
