15ft is a length....not much help...........what you need to know is how much water it contains and then you can work put how much chlorine to put in.
Best people to advise you would be where you bought the pool.

o.k im a woman i dont know everything. its 15ftx36" and 530gallons me thinks.
That's a long thin swimming pool..........!!!???
OK ....one tablet of chlorine in each of the 2 skimmers and then run it on manual for about 3 hours.
The with your testing kit...retest and add more chlorine to keep level as directed by you kit.

Sorry....I forgot.....don't bother with Algaecide....waste of money.
Hold on.. you did say it was 15 foot by 36 inches... it's quite reasonable to make a remark given that information.....

came on for advice which i got with thanks to sqad not a witch hunt! have a nice day!
Sqad has his pool in Spain.

If your pool is in UK, you may wish to get a second opinion on some things;

coli - someone was only asking for dimensions - so they can calculate volume of water you need to be treated - its a simple calc from there - so if you give W(width), L(length) and D(depth) then it's easy - I don't think anybody was being ironic
530 gallons doesn't sound right!

530 gallons is about 85 cubic feet, even if the dimensions of 15 feet by 36 inches (3 feet) was correct that would mean the pool is under 2 feet deep. assuming that the 36inches is an error and it's wider then it would need to be even shallower to be 530 gallons.
Stop being ironic, chuck !! :o/
