can you please recommend a company that convert double garage doors into electronic ones with fobs. you can see im not technically minded as im not even sure what you call it!

Are they up and over doors and steel?
What size are they?
Any name on stickers or mechanism on the door inside? Cardale maybe?
You can possible get actuators with fobs or you may need an electric pair of doors. L:ot of difference in price.

yes doors would be up and over not roller ones. extra wide, just over a double.

Well the first thing is actual accurate measurements.
The openings might need modifying.

slight hitch! there is no electricity in the garage, is it still possible to have one? the garage is away from the house!

is it possible to have one without any electricity in the garage, how would it work? our garage is not connected at all, not even bottom of garden!

As a general rule, electronic things don't work without electricity!

I suppose you could put a generator in the garage, but by the time you've started the generator to enable the doors to be opened it would be quicker just to open the doors.
