My daughter visits an old couple who have bought a Hoover vision washer/ dryer. She has plumbed it in for them but when it spins it is jumping all over. Any ideas anyone please. She says it has hard plastic feet not rubber. The old man phoned hoover and they told him to take 3 of the feet off. Any help appreciated. Thankyou.

Who did the unpacking and removal of any transit bars from the machine?
What The Funicular!!!!

They said take 3 feet off! that person should be sacked from hoover if they really said that (unlikely they did I'd hope!)

The machine needs to be levelled, you do this by adjusting the height of the feet (they screw in and out) until it's level, if it's not on level ground to start with then the floor needs to be made as close to level as possible to start with.
This happened to a friend of mine - turned out the installer had left all the packing pieces inside the machine in place. Removal cured the problem.

When she got there it had been unpacked, person unknown. Maybe the delivery men.
Chuck, I agree floor needs to be level but I find it hard to believe that any floor would be so far off that a machine would 'jump all over'.

Ah... yes... make sure the transit bolts and bars are removed first..... sorry, missed the installed by somebody who is not a proper installer part!

Just seen your reply about unpacking. Can anyone check that this has been done properly and all relevant parts removed?
Can you post the make and model?

Oh, mine had lock things in there, don't know the real name for them, but they stop the drum from turning in transit, and need to be removed before use, and also mine has levelling legs, so that you can get the machine as level as possible on the floor too!..........maybe one of these things are causing the problem?......

Is there an instruction manual? There should be if machine was bought new. It should explain unpacking and levelling instructions, usually with diagrams.

Thankyou, thankyou . Have shown daughter video and those bolts are still in she says. Old man is 84, his wife 96 and my daughter suffers from epilepsy, what a combination. she is assisted by her 76 year old friend.

Just tell them that they have to sit on it while it's on.
That will cheer them up a bit : )

We are all glad to help. I have looked at the manual on the site as given by Doc and it covers unpacking info with diagrams. It is a pdf file so you will need Adobe Reader or similar to view it.
