I want to disconnect my electric cooker from the wall. Does anyone know of a step by step chart on line guide i could follow ? I can find how to change a plug, change a light bulb but not this task !! Any help would be most welcomed.

Turn off the cooker switch and pull out the cooker. Open the plate on the back, where the cable enters and disconnect it. If you want to disconnect the cable from the switch, remove the cooker fuse (or MCB) from the consumer unit, and open up the switch. Disconnect the wires connected to the load part of the switch.
It is a very simple job and not really that much more difficult than wiring a plug but since the beginning of this year certain types of electrical work must by law be done by a registered qualified electrician.  If unsure of the situation seek professional advice.
