new glass door for washing machine

the inside of the glass door has got a big crack down it, any ideas how to fix it? or if not where i can get e new part for it from?

No options other than to replace the glass ... you will find the exact model and serial number inside the door panel ... This one fits most of the 540 range.

lol!! i know chuck, that's what i thought as well. But it's for a familly i work for that has 4 young children, which maybe explains it a little. Thankyou though guys, i'll pass these links on to them xx

My understanding is that certain models are more susceptible to this fault that others.

The problem is a design fault – when running a very hot wash cycle with a small wash load, cold fill water is directed onto the hot glass door, which suffers thermal shock – causing a crack.
