space-saving bags
3 Answers
Has anyone got any that work? I tried a fellow answerbanker's suggestion about making your own, using a strong plastic bag and a rubber band, but it did not work for me. I know that there are now some on the market that you close with a zip, and also some with rods, I was wondering if they work. I know you can get some that you just roll up, they are said to be very good, but I dont think they would be big enough for my needs, I am thinking particularly of duvets and pillows. Thanks.

She's never had a problem with them although I originally thought they'd split and they do save a lot of space. I 'm sure JML sell them for a fairly reasonable price in Woolworths, B and Q, Robert Dyas and wherever else they advertise on telly.
I bought some of these bags two years ago. Terrific! I can now get two double douvet covers, a quilt cover and a single douvet all in the top section of a wardrobe.(3 bags) They go so flat you wont believe it. The vacuum does the job with no effort. I think I saw some at Woolworths last week. They sell them at Amazon. Just type in "Storage bags" and Google.
