quentin crisp said that after 3 years, the dust doesn't get any worse!
Putting up pictures .Have no drill so get the hammer out ..Hold nail so as not to hit thumb or finger ..Position nail approx where picture is to be hung ..Whack nail flys some unknown directing chunk comes out of plaster .Row starts no hung until later date.
Better than that, weecalf - knocking nail in to put picture up. It goes through electric cable and all the power switches off. Frightened me to death!

Ironing! I loathe it. My son used to do it for me (his lovely dad was in the army, so he was pretty good at it and taught K Jnr!) but now he spends most of the time at his girlfriend's, so it's piling up!! I don't mind changing beds, but usually have to contend with cats playing under the covers when I'm trying to put the duvet on (the number of times I've got a cat in the duvet cover....!!).
Cleaning the oven! Think it's overdue! ;0/
duvets...aaaarggghhh..have posted on this subject before....also putting away shopping and ironing.......

crisgal that's what i remember about Quentin Crisp, funny man.
I discovered one I'd forgotten....pairing socks. If they come out of the dryer in odds, as they often do, I throw them into a box. I spent half an hour earlier pairing them up. How bloody tedious.
have just cleaned oven .oh what joy!!!!!
cleaning the loo.

i tried cleaning the oven once, got as far as opening the door, and shut it again. Though if im honest i did clean the inside of the front of the door, which meant having to unscrew the glass plate, oh the muck, and what a performance. It didn't look any better. A friend of mine some years ago, used to employ someone just to clean the oven.
Does anyone think we will see affordable domestic robots in our lifetime? Honda's Asimo has been developed a long way now.
I hate cleaning my oven!! Why hasn't anyone invented Teflon coated oven shelves yet?
the most tedious job would probably be the shopping, I dont mind the housework
Cooking

I just cannot be bothered cooking for myself ... and it makes your kitchen all untidy.
Same as Carmalee really. Any housework. I can do any amount of dirty work outside.

Ironing is particularly awful I suppose, but other household chores come near. I do hoover because of animal hairs, but dusting is only done when visitors come and then it is only the rooms that they are likely to see.

When I was younger I was much more organised but as I have aged I just can't see the point in housework.

(I would point out that my sinks and loos are cleaned regularly - I actually don't mind doing that)
I've got a self cleaning oven....
I just buy a new one!!
