Gas cooker disaster!

I was cooking a fresh pizza - loads of topping and cheese - and managed to push it off the back of the shelf, so that it landed on the jets! I have cleaned it as best as I can, but the jets are obviously clogged up and it won't light.

Any suggestions?

Oh dear - thought there might be a magic cure!

Thanks for replying.
Perhaps get hold of a blowtorch, and burn the crud off,
Lift out covers and panels.
You can probably lift right out the burner assy to wash under hot tap.
Blow off and dry .. refit.
Some might have a screw and clamp holding burner in place.
Easy job.
(you are not disturbing the jet .. just taking out the diffuser)

Thanks both, I'll have a go tomorrow.
If you tell us which cooker exactly .. we'll have a look at manual.

Thanks Albags. It's actually one in my holiday mobile home. It's a Newhome Stove - model no: 050565033

Please don't go to too much trouble. I'll try what you suggest but, to be honest, it looks great from outside but inside is tiny. It may well be the push I need to get a new one. Problem is that using LPG lessens my choice I think.
I did that and poked nail in gas holes to clear them.
Bigglez and you lived to tell the tale.
Nahhh ..

You can get LPG jets for many cookers and boilers if you enquire.
I'll have a look about : )
Hi Em ...

Nothing broken today then? : )
Either too old for web records .. or not the correct 'friendly' model name ..
Have a look .. many of those burners just lift out for cleaning! They all used to be cast iron lumps with drillings and a big hole in centre.
Albags, would you believe it, three channels on tv down, got freeviews built in, rest of the channels seem to be ok, no idea whats going on, there are bloody gremlins around i suspect.
So thats hi fi, cooker, tv, laptop, if there had been a power surge, could it do some damage to electrical items, I am at a loss really.
No Em ..

Try first doing a full scan for channels with antenna UN-plugged.
When it scans and finds nothing, scan again with antenna plugged back in.
Try that .. signals vary at the moment during changeover.
What's your 'basic' postcode ..? I'll put it into my calculator and tell you where it should be pointing, what channel numbers at the moment .. and antenna quality needed.
Al.
