Upholstery cleaner.

All the upholstery cleaners that I've found give instructions for cleaning fresh stains, but I'm looking for something to clean general grubbiness that has accumilated over time. Any recommendations?

I am also looking for the same re carpets.  I have bought a polti steamer a Bissel Quick wash carpet shampooer and various sprays but nothing does a general overall cleaning that notices.
