New Kettle
7 Answers
At the moment I have the Morphy Richards 43693 but as usual in our hard water area, scaling is starting to appear on the outside and inside the plastic bit on the side, where you measure how much water is inside the kettle. I have used white vinegar to clean it but I cant clean inside the plastic bit. So now I need a new kettle. Can you recommend one please ? I do like a cream colour rather than just steel grey or black.

At the first sign of trouble, it goes in the bin and a replacement purchased.
I have been known to buy a spare when Argos has an offer that cannot be refused (at circa £4).

Like Hymie, I go for the cheapest. (They work well and last for ages). But £5.69? That's expensive!

bite the bullet get a £5 water filter jug you can get replacement filters for around £3 if you by a 6 pack each filter will give you around 120 litres before it needs changing
(it say change after 100 but that's to get you to buy filters)
i mark my 1.50 at time litre usage on a note pad so i can keep track of when i change it
