4 Answers
I have had a good crop of runner beans so far, but today I noticed that some of the leaves are turning yellow. Anyone know what is causing this. Is it some sort of deficiency.

Make sure you feed them and keep them well watered but ultimately they will turn yellow as the plant starts to burn out. As long as you are still getting a good crop of beans, everything sounds normal to me.

They need a lot of watering once the flowers are setting. I think they are by far the most rewarding vegetable to grow and take up the least space. I have three growing against the walls of my house and they go up to about fifteen feet and still produce perfect beans, some a foot long. I need a ladder to reach the top ones.
