Small electric blanket
5 Answers
My elderly neighbour is confined to a wheelchair and has very poor circulation. As a result, when he is watching TV his legs and feet get very cold even with his central heating set high. He is seeking to buy a small electric blanket, about 1 metre square, but has been unable to locate one. Has anybody any knowledge if such a blanket is available. Thanks on his behalf.

What about this one?
The reason I am so enthusiastic about the first is that I bought one for an elderly neighbour as a special Christmas present.
She just loves it, and it is very cheap to run.

I understand this condition because I have it myself. The furry wraps and blankets will not help. he needs a source of heat. The only thing I use successfully in winter is an electric foot-warmer, which takes both feet, including thin shoes, thick socks or slippers, and has (usually ) 2 settings. Make sure it has a wire long enough to reach the nearest socket, or buy an extension.
