My outside tap suddenly lost pressure yesterday. All the other mains-fed cold taps are ok, and there is no blockage in the tap itself, but the water just trickles out. How can I cure this?

Bye laws state the outside tap should have a non-return valve in the circuit to it. If it has, this is most likely jammed. We often have trouble with our outside tap because of this.

Thanks j2buttonsw. My tap had two of these, one was broken. All sorted now.
