Hair dye stain on cotton clothing

How sad is this for a Friday night? I've just finished dyeing my hair (dark brown) and have splashed some dye on a pair of pale grey cotton trousers. Any suggestions on how to deal with the stain please? (I am going out on Saturday night....honest)

Put them to soak in cold water and go to a 24 hour Tesco for a Stain Devil.  They're on the shelves near the household soaps and things.
