My radiator has come away from the wall due to the screw and rawl (raw?) plug coming out. the hole is now too big for another plug what is the best way to fill this to resecure the radiator bracket - a piece of dowel perhaps? I cannot move the radiator to either side.

Thanks

There are various fillers that dry hard enough to be drilled into again so you can fit a new plug, otherwise you could use the filler but then push the plug into it whilst still wet and see if that will hold sufficiently.
You would be best drilling a deeper hole into underlying brick/ block and using a longer screw and plug in this.  The reason it fell out in the first place was that it was probably secured in the plaster only.  Filling the hole and drilling into this may work but there is the risk the filler will pull out of the plaster.
Another way is to enlarge the hole and then use car-body filler to pack the hole. Once set, re-drill the hole, then use a plug and screw like normal.
Done it numerous times in my house which has flakey lime mortar and it worked a treat. Half of the shelves in the house are held up that way. Even used it to repair damaged chipboard doors.

Hope you get on ok.
Or use a cavity fixing
