Haha ......... quite right BM. I must admit I usually refer to "Heating Engineers", but like me, they are techs really. It's the modern tendency towards self-aggrandisement ;o)
Sorry lostboy................ yes, probably just a connection. Or a valve may be leaking.
Also, a plastic part in my boiler developed a pinhole recently...... sprayed water all over the place.
Funny how job titles keep on being elevated. At one time I was a radio mechanic, then I became a radio technician. No change in the work - only the job title!
think about it you lot ,its not the pipe feeding the tap (outlet pipe) otherwise it would leak all the time ,not just when the tap is turned on .
Its more likely to be the divertor valve leaking from the spindle.
But you need to have it looked at to rectify this fault , which is quite common.
