what a total waste of time & money, who actually cares...Paid £85.00 for one on the house being sold, no doubt a similiar amount was paid by the owner of the property being purchased ,whatever the results of these reports it wont affect the the sale or purchase in any way.

It consisted of ticking a few boxes after asking what insulation they had, then letting the software churn out a rating. I rather think the EPC was left in the HIPS not only to appease Environmentalists, but to compensate
those of us who spent a load on the abandoned HI training.

the one that really made me chuckle and realise how stupid it is was in the local hospital..Apparently all newly built commercial buildings have to have one on display by law, price of certificate £5,000+ fine for not displaying £2,000....if im in the local outpatients do i give a sh1t what the energy rating of the building is ?
