there is too much air in my Alpha Combi Boiler how do i get rid of it?

i have a Alpha Combi Boiler CB25/33 (no tank) and there seems to be too much air in the boiler and everytime i place the heating on the whole boiler seems to fail and no heating works as not enough water is getting there. Please could you help me because at the moment me and my family are having showers with cold water.

The Builder i Have topped up the pressure with the filling loop but the there is only a red light flashing which obviously is bad news

Surely there must be a larger problem here if there is no heating and no hot water?

There should be 2 lights............. which is the red one ......... top or bottom?

First make sure the gas hasn't been turned off by accident, then turn the Selector knob to RESET

The Builder i tried resetting it and it starts to work but the fire doesn't work at all

OK, so it starts to run, but the boiler doesn't ignite?

The Builder Yes after a little while thats when the top light flashes red
What do i do now????

OK. It sounds like Chuck was right after all (isn't he always? ) ;o)

It doesn't sound too serious. I would guess that it's not getting any gass. Probably a fault with the Gas Valve.

Otherwise, it needs a boiler guy to look at it to put it right.
