Hi Posters,

I am trying to sell my property but would like people's advice regarding misty double glazing. I have three windows which are misty and I am wondering if I leave as it is without replacing and sell it in the current state or get the glass unit replaced prior marketing it.

Any thoughts please?

If the units are misty, the units have failed and you need to get in touch with whoever fitted them. Are they still under guarantee?
hi, although it wont make any difference to the selling pribe, if your housr is presented the best it can be it'll sell quicker. i would wonder what other maintenance you had scrimped on
I must agree with Bedbugs........... people are terribly timid about buying houses. The slightest defect can cause them to run away ;o)
Or............. they'll start to pick away at the price.

DG units aren't terribly expensive. Well worth doing.
don't be worried about a relatively cheap fix........like the others say, if potential buyers spot a fault, before long there's a list and the house has had to be reduced by £5000........its human nature, if they can push for a cheaper price they will, don't give them that chance.
