applying rat tail trim to tuille
1 Answers
My daughter has asked me to make her bridal veil. I am honored. She wants rat tail ribon applied to the edges. It will be a shoulder length veil. Is this applied with a glue gun? if so, how easy/hard is this?I've sewn for years, but have never used rat tail ribbon and I want this to be right. I need to get started on this soon.

It might be better to use either a PVA fabric glue which dries clear (but the result may be patchy because of the tulle), or handsewing the ribbon onto the veil from the underside as there would be no stitch makes showing on the 'right' side.
Try out the options on pieces of 'scrap' first to check the results, but probably hand sewing would be the best option.
Good luck and best wishes for the 'Big Day'.
