dishwasher tablets!

Good morning my little fruit bats!

I have just had a new kitchen put in and have treated myself to a shiny new dishwasher [I have never had one before] and would be grateful for some advice at getting the best performance from it.
Soooooooo.....what tablets are best? Do I need to use a de-scaler? [hard southern water here]...... and tips and cheats for my new toy?

The one we have tells us when it wants salt and rinse aid, it's our first too and I love it. Enjoy

I'm pretty sure it was Aldi that got a best buy from Which recently for their dishwasher tablets, it could have been Lidl though I always muddle them up!

Even if using 3-in-1 tablets I still use salt and rinse aid. With my Bosch machine I had to tell it how hard the water is in my area and it adjusts the salt itself. When you unwrap it have a flick through the handbook, it will tell you how to set it up.
