They're good for using a couple of times, then putting it away at the back of a cupboard. This is so that, in years to come, children will come across it and ask what it's for.

Very good for breaking static that keeps fluff and pet hairs stuck to carpets and upholstery. A pass or two with the steamer, let it cool then hoover and some very unexpected muck is released.

I use mine every week for kitchen, bathroom and hall floors. Use with just water. would add detergent if using on carpet. Great for defrosting freezer.

I do have a mushroom colour carpet it shows every mark, maybe could use for de spotting?

Be careful with stains - the heat may set the stain rather than loosen it. Treat carpet stains with cold water and detergent in solution and blot dry with lots of towels.

Maggiebee...Better to defrost your freezer at room temperature. Using steam could cause damage to parts beyond economic repair.
