Heavy Duty Wardrobe rail
2 Answers
My husband 'built in' our wardrobes and used old (thick) wooden curtain poles for the rails, rather than buy anything when they looked so strong. We have always had trouble with the rails in wardrobes, i always manage to bend or snap them! The curtain poles worked fine but we needed 3 rails and only had 2 poles. He bought a new curtain pole for this 3rd rail and at 2.00am this morning the bloomin thing snapped and all my clothes are still on the floor!!! It appears the new 'wooden' poles are not proper wood as the old ones were. Can anyone tell me what is exceptionally strong and can be used as wardrobe rail? or any idea on how to overcome this problem? Thanks
