Help with number of tiles.

Can someone please tell me how many carpet tiles for a room 19 feet 6 inches x 10 feet 6inches. The tiles are 50 cms x 50 cms. Thankyou.

Tip: measure the room metrically!

10'6" is 3mts,20cm. You'll need 7x50cm tiles for the first row.
19'6" is just under 6mts.
you'll need 84 tiles

So thats about 6 meters by 3.2 meters so 3.5 meters for a whole tile

so 12 tiles by 7 tiles or 84 tiles in total

Actually, you'll need more unless the room is a perfect rectangle and you don't waste any at all.
