What is the best way to deal with the little blighters. I see them outside and I think they are in my single storey extension loft space.

Can I deal with this myself or do I need to call the experts in?

Any advice most welcome, thanks.

You can call the experts in but some people call them cats!

They do not normally charge for their services either. I would advice using them.

I don't know how or if Rentokil charge for their services, but they will come and put down traps/poison and see where they are getting in. Block up any holes in the skirting boards or where pipes run up into the property, Aluminium foil or even used brillo pads/steel wool is a deterrent.

some Neosorexa from your nearest farmers store would work wonders.....they have a lesser one for mice that is sitting up in my attic but I am not going up there now. Just throw out a few punctured packs and they nibble it and head outside as it targets their kidneys....

Your local Council will have a pest control service

Thanks for the replies, Council charge if they are not in the main house, have got a local pest control firm in, same rates but I'd rather give them the money !

Never block up any holes until you have killed all the mice.

use a good mouse poison, rat poison doesnt work as well on mice.

Cats usually cause the problem, they very rarely solve it.

Mice are sporadic feeders, you will need to put down a lot of bait in many different areas or it wont work effectively.
