I am getting these horrid Yellow stains on the underarm of my white T-Shirts. I wear these T-Shirts kinda like a vest, I put a fresh one on each day; think of James Dean and you get the idea ;-)  I cannot remove these stains. I have tried pre wash treatments: Vanish liquid, Shout spray and Bio-tex spray without success. Any solutions??? Thx

Bleach?  Or maybe salt rubbed into the stain?  Alternatively invest in a good anti-perspirant, that might help in the future.

I got this from Prima magazine and not sure if it works but I was going to try it.

'for older stains on silks wools and non washable fabrics mix one tablespoon of cream of tartar and three crushed apsirins with a little warm water to make a paste. Apply and leave for 30 minutes. Dab off with lukewarm water.'

Try leaving them to soak overnight, or at least for a few hours,  in a hot biological detergent for whites solution  to give the enzymes a chance to do their work. If you use an anti-perspirant make sure your under-arms are dry before putting on your clean t-shirt otherwise the anti-perspirant and sweat combine to form a coating on the material which is almost impossible to remove.
Try Nappisan, soak items overnight and that should do the trick.

Thanks Guys. I will try all those over the next few weeks and report back for anyone else who might be interested.
Spray the stain with white vinegar before each wash and the marks should gradually reduce. Read this somewhere and tried it after general girlie discussion, we all thought it was quite successful!
dab stain with lemon juice or white vinegar soloution 1 tbsp vinegar to half a pint of water and leave for five mins. Then soak in a biological detergent and wash in the normal way. These stains can be difficult to remove, sorry
