Mould on my blinds!!!
5 Answers
Hi everyone,
I have a real problem with mould on my blinds they are fabric but I can't take them down, they cost me a lot of money and I don't want to replace them! It is driving me mad as when I go into my sons room I can smell the mould and I hate it as it is like I don't clean my house, but I do!!!
Has anyone any solutions of how to clean them I would be so grateful. Thanks xx

We generate a lot of moisture when we sleep, from breath and from general sweatiness, and that needs to be released by throwing open the windows and letting fresh air circulate. The room also needs to be warm enough so that the relative humidity of the air in there is too high for mould to grow in. This can be achieved by leaving the central heating on low, or by my usual answer to most questions which is to leave a small oil-filled radiator plugged in so that a constant background warmth builds up.
Then when the mould is dead you'll find it cleans off easier, stays off and the pong disappears.
