Is it possible to hire/rent such things as washing machines tumble dryers and fridge freezers? If so does any one know where i would go to do this in the Banbury Area?

Try your local TV Rental store. A lot of them do white goods as well.

Euronics franchises sometimes do rentals (I know they used to as my mate rented a phat tv from them).  If you do a search on askjeeves you'll be able to find their website to find your local store.

 Hughes loan out electrical goods in Norfolk/suffolk area so I would imagine this applies to all areas. Maybe they do not exist  where you live.
